Using the Vaccinator is an infuriating task if you are on the receiving end. Want to do damage with your weapons? NOPE gets rekt with 75% damage reduction. And guess what? Your Melee will only be useful if the pocket does not obliterate you. Goddamn it, this "thing" is cursed. But I do use it to ruin peoples days. I'm going to burn in hell.

Darktide is a masterpiece with it's graphics, sound fx, music, theme etc. Sure there are things I'd like to see improved, but it's gotta be in the top 3, if not the best, Warhammer licensed games.

More needs to be said about how poorly its optimized tho.

After so many years of using this vaccinator is definitely one of the best experiences.

I started with Darktide, then I went through the lore, now I'm painting my first tech priest figure. So the game does quite a good job introducing people to the 40k world.

A vacc medic activated bullet res on a heavy right before i was about to land a fully charged headshot on his fat ass. That heavy later mowed down our heavy because of the medic and we then lost the point.. ffs.

I think so. I hate to admit it but I've sunk over 150 hours in the last month. I NEVER play games that much, let alone THE SAME GAME. There's a new patch about to drop (secrets of the machine-god) with new weapons and a level or two so that should be a good time to get into it! :D

If you like Darktide, try Vermintide 2, too! Dialoges are a LOT more alive and diverse, game content is infinitely more (literally, thanks to the roguelike chaos wastes), and the melee combat is a bit better thought out. Of course, that one is fantasy, so if sci fi is your jam, then Darktide will sit better. But if you like fantasy too, Vermintide 2 will be a pleasant surprise for you!
